EDF: Nuclear College Credentials
The National College for Nuclear (NCfN) forms a cornerstone of the Government’s response to climate change, and a need for nuclear, greener jobs. The college is a partnership between industry, national regulators, skills bodies and training providers, and is set to revolutionise the way that training for the nuclear sector is delivered, whilst ensuring that the UK maintains its enviable global reputation for expert workers and top quality, safe operations. Through a combination of classroom learning and practical experience at their facilities, and those of their industry partners, they produce rounded and capable young professionals who have the skills and behaviours needed to deliver the UK’s nuclear challenges. This is essential in the fight against climate change as with the creation of greener jobs, as well as successful green education, we will ultimately build a country which is able to understand it's impact on the planet, while providing revolutionary solutions going forward.
